So, whenever Dallin holds Claire this way she falls right to sleep. We call this the sweet spot. She always looks so peaceful sleeping this way. She folds her arms across her chest and closes her eyes ever so gently. Sometimes she even smiles while she's sleeping, probably dreaming about angels, dragonflies, butterflies, and baskets full of kittens and puppies. Speaking of smiling...Claire has started smiling in response to us. It is the cutest thing ever and just warms my heart. Anyways, back to the sweet spot. We call her The Sleeping Dragon because she does look so peaceful here while she sleeps but she can fool even the most experienced parents. The instant we lay her down her eyes pop right open and then comes the dragon's roar. :) Just kidding she really does have quite a pathetic little girl cry. She puts out her bottom lip and lets out a high pitched whine. It kinda sounds like a little puppy.
Another cute thing she does is when you put her up on your shoulder to burp her she will do this head bopping thing all over. She kind of reminds us of a blind puppy that was just born. Speaking of comparing her to a puppy. Dallin and I were discussing all the animals we have compared her to since she has been born. Here is the list: a piggy, a frog, a mouse, a puppy, a dragon, and a bear.
We did bless her this last weekend, but being that I'm a horrible mother I did not take any pictures of my daughter on her blessing day because it was a little stressful at times. But never fear I am going to put her back into her blessing dress and take some cute pictures for all to see.
