So, after Mae was born the kids wanted to go outside and jump in the rain puddles...
As you can see it turned into a little more than jumping in the puddle!
They had so much fun, but they got incredibly dirty!
They started getting it in their hair and that was the worst part! It was so hard to get all the little tiny rocks out of their mangled hair!
It was too cold to spray them off with the hose so we had to bring them inside to try and get clean in the shower.
We were so afraid that it was going to clog our drain. We plugged the drain in our shower so the mud couldn't run down it. Then we had this bathtub full of muddy, rocky water so we tried to scoop it out as best we could before the water was drained.
Such a mess! I kept telling the kids that this was such a bad idea and we were never doing to this again.
Fun memories though...I guess.
So for family home evening one night we talked about nature and the things Heavenly Father has created for us. We decided to go outside and take pictures of the things we were thankful for that Heavenly Father has given us. We let the kids each take a turn taking pictures. Wish I could remember who took what. One of the kids took a picture of our cat, Bob.
