Self portrait that Claire drew at school

 Claire entered this butterfly coloring into a coloring contest at school. She contended against the kids in her class and the whole school voted for who they thought did the best...and she won! She worked so hard on it and I was so proud of her!

 Claire wrote this song for her and her friend, Taylor to sing at a talent show at school. Unfortunately she didn't get to sing it because she was sick.

Kate's xylophone

Soccer

This was Kate's first year of soccer. I was so proud of her. She did so good! She got right in there and kicked the ball a lot and she even scored two goals! I hope she keeps going with it.

Claire was a very good goalie and defender this year. Hardly any balls got past her! There was such a big difference between last year and this year with Claire. They actually played positions and passed the ball to each other instead of all running in a pack.

I think Claire's game got cancelled due to weather when we were taking pictures so we didn't get any pictures of Claire playing this year. :(

Wallace Lake

 So our family went camping to Wallace Lake early in the summer. This is a photo that Dallin took of the lake at sunset.

 Dallin spent some time fishing but only caught minnows. The kids had fun trapping the minnows that Dallin caught in bags with water and then setting them free.

 We roasted hot dogs and had chili dogs.

 Sam ended up coming home with Mae and me. He was very distraught about that decision he made. He was mad at me the whole night until he fell asleep despite my efforts to explain to him that it was his decision to come home.

 All in all it was a very fun trip.

No More Pencils! No More Books! No More Teacher's Dirty Looks!

 So, for the last day of school we got some painter's plastic and sprayed shaving cream all over it. The kids had fun getting all messy!

 Then we turned it into a slip n slide! So much fun!
