New House

So, today Dallin and I met with the builders. It sounds really promising. Because they haven't started building yet they said we could pick our colors (paint, flooring, fixtures, etc.) They even said they could probably extend the layout of the home 2ftx2ft which would make the bedrooms a little bigger. I'm really getting excited. I hope everything works out.

House Hunters

So, Dallin and I went house hunting the other day and found an awesome 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that is brand spankin' new, with a huge fenced back yard that would be awesome for entertaining and for a wild child to run around in. The only drawback is the bedrooms are pretty small. But, hey it's a giant leap from where we are right? Well, there is already a sale pending on it, but we found out that the builders are building more of them. I realize I am now heading in the opposite direction of my dream home. I have always wanted to buy an older home with a lot of charm and character, not a new home that looks exactly like the neighbors. But...after looking at aaaa lllooottt of old homes I realized that I want to move into an older home that is already fixed up and those are just way too far out of our price range. If any of you would like to donate oohh, lets say a couple hundred grand to our first home fund maybe we could by our charming old home. And it is a little hard for me to walk into an old ugly home and envision what it could be. So, this new home looked pretty dang good for our first home. Another thing is I bet this newer home has fewer spiders...and by spiders I mean hobos...than an older home. So, because the builders are building more of them we are going to meet with them tomorrow to wine and dine them. We might even get to specify certain things...for instance bamboo floors throughout the whole house. I'm not a fan of carpet. I'm pretty excited.

Survey

So, Dallin and I had a little argument the other day. I had botten some Creamies at the grocery store. I offered Dallin one and he asked, "What is a creamie? Is it like a popsicle?" I was shocked and replied, "No, it's not like a popsicle! Haven't you ever had a creamie before?" He said no. Then he brought up some treat called an Eskimo Pie. I had never heard of that. He was likewise shocked. Then he said, "I bet more people have heard of Eskimo Pies than Creamies." I strongly disagree. So please take a second and respond to our survey.

I PASSED!

I passed my boards! Yippee! I am now an official Registered Nurse. I was so relieved on Friday afternoon when I got the notice that I passed my boards because now I don't have to worry about telling everyone that I'm stupid and I failed and now I don't have to worry about getting fired and now I don't have to worry about studying anymore. It is a wonderful feeling to be done for the rest of my life with school and tests and studying. I would say that I can now breathe alot easier, but I seem to be having a large mass that is growing and pressing up against my diaphragm causing my lung expansion to be limited. If any of you could let me know what it could be I would be most appreciative.
