It Doesn't Hurt To Try

So, my dear motivating friend Mandy convinced me to try cloth diapers. I have gone back and forth many a time trying to decide if I should try it or not. I finally came to the conclusion what is it going to hurt to just try it. I will only be out $35. And I won't even be out that because what does a gigantic box of Huggies cost? Huh? Huh? The main reasons that people try cloth diapers is #1 It is good for the environment #2 For financial reasons #3 They are dang cute. I am a little ashamed to say the main reason I am trying it is #3. When I pulled them out of the mailing box Claire kept saying, "I like cloth diapers." and "Cute diapers." I responded, "Yes, Claire, they are very cute." In fact when I am old and incontinent I want to wear cloth diapers and not depends just because of the cuteness factor. :) Anyway moving on from that disturbing image. Doesn't Claire look so cute in them. I will let you know how they work. For the record, Dallin said I could try them but he was NOT going to participate. I'll let you know if I ever break him.

Someone Finally Visited Us!

So, last weekend Erica, Scott, Chase, and Sajay came to visit us. Unfortunately, the trip for them started out a little rocky. To start out with when they got to Shoshone they realized that Scott's wallet got left home so back to Jerome they went. When they got all the way to Challis Sajay decided to throw up. We all know how fun throw up can be...and in the car on top of that. When they got to Salmon it was about 10 or 10:30 pm so, they were all pretty tired. Then two of the days Scott was not feeling very well. It was a little cold outside too all weekend, except the day they went home of course. We did manage to fit the park in before they left. We had fun though talking, laughing, playing the Wii...especially Guitar Hero...which by the way I suck very much bad at. Thanks everyone for coming to visit!

More Cute Pics

The other day when we were shopping at our wonderful Alco discount store Claire picked up some finger paints and I thought to myself, "Oh, those might be fun." So I bought them for her with visions in my head of the beautiful, colorful pictures she would paint for me. Well, it started out good but after about 3 minutes she discovered it was funner to wipe it all over the table and not the paper and funner to wipe them all over...and I mean all over her clothes, and then funner still to dump the whole container of finger paints all over the table and then to throw it on the floor. I promptly put away the other 3 remaining colors for about another 3 years. That paper plate that you see I have great visions of filling it with rice to make a tamborine for her, which I'm sure will also turn into another art catastrophe.
