Happy Birthday Claire!

Claire turned 2 years old on May 24th! I can't believe she is already 2. It just seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. Since it was raining on her birthday we decided to take her to her first major motion picture on the big screen. We went to see Shrek in 3D. She actually did pretty good. It cracked me up to see her sitting there in her own seat holding her popcorn and wearing the goofy looking glasses.

Here are some things she can do all by herself or as in Claire's own words, "Do self!"

1. Say any word imaginable

2. Go to the potty...sometimes

3. Take off all her clothes...including her diaper

4. Help pick up her toys...sometimes

5. Change her baby's diaper, feed her baby, tuck her baby in to bed, and put her baby in time out

6. Burp and say excuse me

7. Drink from a big girl cup

8. Climb into and out of the bathtub

9. Manage to destroy the whole house in 3.5 seconds

10. Give the best kisses and hugs and say "I lah loo."

Claire's Boo Boo

Since I am a slacker I never posted about Claire getting hurt. Her lip is all healed up now. But a couple weeks ago she was running toward her stroller outside and right when she got there she tripped and hit her head on the stroller. I stopped mowing the lawn and thought, "Oh! That probably hurt." I casually walked over there to pick her up. When I turned her around she had blood pouring out her mouth. Then I thought, "AAAAHHHH!!!" I got her bleeding stopped and it looked pretty dang deep so I thought we better go to the E.R. Well, we paid for an E.R. visit for the doctor to tell us to swish with salt water, give Tylenol, and put ice on it.

Happy Mothers day to all. Claire and I are a little biased and think we have the best mom around. Thanks Jen for putting up with us and not kicking us out of the house to fend for ourselves. Love Dallin and Claire
