4th of July 2016

Sadly, I had to work on the 4th of July but Dallin and the kids still carried out the tradition of going to watch the fireworks with a big ole bowl of popcorn.

They clearly had fun even though I wasn't there.

We set our tent up in the living room so the kids could watch General Conference. I told them they were like King Benjamin and his people. Pointing their tent door towards the prophet.

 This is when we hiked to Goldbug hot springs. The kids did so much better then I thought they would. They probably had more endurance than their mother.

 Kate was in the play, Pinocchio. She was a little toy soldier.

Catching Up With Sam

 We made a marble run with pool noodles!

 Who knew a little bit of dish soap and water in a food processor could be soooo fun?

 Sam got this gorilla the day he had to be put under general anesthesia to get some cavities taken care of. Sam loves him.

It was a long winter and Sam missed the swings.

 This was the year to get presents with wheels. Between Christmas and Sam's birthday he got a pedal less bike,

 a scooter,

Sam likes to go down this section of sidewalk by the church because it has a slight slope so gets going kind of fast on it.

 Sam thought it was so funny that he put his bee costume on backwards. I thought it was funny too but for a different reason.

 Sam hurt his lip one day and came into my room to show me his "ice pack"

Making gingerbread play doh. I let him put as much spice on as he wanted. He kept looking at me waiting for me to stop him and say that's enough. 

 Sam was a puppy for Halloween.
