24 Weeks

Only 16 more weeks to go! That doesn't sound like very long to me. I'm kinda freakin' out! Wait I'm not ready! I take it all back...it all back! Just kidding. We are very excited to meet our baby girl. She better be cute, because her face shot on the ultrasound did not look so cute. She looked a little bit like an alien. Anyway here is what she is up to now. She is now approximately 11 inches long and weighs about 1 1/2 pounds. Her brain is growing rapidly now, her taste buds are developing to love ice cream, and the branches of the lungs are beginning to form along with the cells that secrete surfactant. I also think that I might be able to feel her move now.
