5 cups of warm water
1 cup of sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
3 Tbsp. yeast (heaping)
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup wheat gluten (heaping)
Mix all ingredients. Add 7 cups of ground up wheat flour and mix. Then add approximately 3 more cups of flour and knead. Put in greased loaf pans and allow to raise for 30 minutes or until it doubles in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

still don't know what wheat gluten is.. goole and wikipedia are not too informative when it comes to this particular item. wikipedia says "gluten is a food made from wheat" Oh thanks... think i'll run over to the safeway and get some. that clarifies everything.
i do however find out loads of info on living with wheat allergies, how wheat gluten may be pet death culprit, why we are importing wheat gluten from china, and that the international wheat gluten association was formed in 1979.
