House Hunters

So, Dallin and I went house hunting the other day and found an awesome 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that is brand spankin' new, with a huge fenced back yard that would be awesome for entertaining and for a wild child to run around in. The only drawback is the bedrooms are pretty small. But, hey it's a giant leap from where we are right? Well, there is already a sale pending on it, but we found out that the builders are building more of them. I realize I am now heading in the opposite direction of my dream home. I have always wanted to buy an older home with a lot of charm and character, not a new home that looks exactly like the neighbors. But...after looking at aaaa lllooottt of old homes I realized that I want to move into an older home that is already fixed up and those are just way too far out of our price range. If any of you would like to donate oohh, lets say a couple hundred grand to our first home fund maybe we could by our charming old home. And it is a little hard for me to walk into an old ugly home and envision what it could be. So, this new home looked pretty dang good for our first home. Another thing is I bet this newer home has fewer spiders...and by spiders I mean hobos...than an older home. So, because the builders are building more of them we are going to meet with them tomorrow to wine and dine them. We might even get to specify certain things...for instance bamboo floors throughout the whole house. I'm not a fan of carpet. I'm pretty excited.

I hate you. However, I'm going to be a big girl and still be very happy/excited for you. I'm going to go cry myself into a jealous sleep now.

that is awesome. I agree with Mandy. But, I do think that's great you guys are grown ups now, while we sit in our hole apt. with noisy crap neighbors upstairs that I want to beat down most of the time, especially when he's yelling about beating his kids, they suck. Anyway, looks really cute, I hope you get what you want. The charming hobo infested house will come later.
