This year at Green Canyon we went up with Diana and her family and Melissa and her family and Grandma Judy! So much fun playing with cousins all week.
Claire did really well this year in swimming lessons. She got better at her forward ice cream scoops. She learned the side stroke and got better at floating on her back. She also learned the back stroke. Kenna and Colten were in her class too!
Kate got to go to lessons also. She was really nervous but did awesome! Her teacher was very patient with her. She never did go all the way under the water but she would put her face in and she would put one ear in at a time. She struggled with floating on her back because she doesn't like getting water in her ears.
She liked racing across the pool. She liked swimming on her belly with her teacher holding her. Her teacher would put money on the bottom of the pool and he would have the kids go under the water to get them. Kate didn't want to go under the water so she would sit there and cry. Then another little girl would come over and get them for her.
She definitely got more confident in the water. Next year I think she will take off!
