So, this little guy turned one on January 6th! We decided to celebrate it on the 4th though. I am so grateful that Sam has come into our lives. He is so cuddly and loveable...especially to his mama. He gives good kisses where he pretty much just eats my face but I love every slobbery one!
He is getting so close to walking. He loves to walk everywhere holding onto hands. He would do that all day if Mom's back would hold out. He loves his sisters and they make him laugh everyday.
Claire and Kate especially loved helping him open presents. Sam gave up baby food pretty early. He decided he was about done with that at about 9 months old. He decided he was missing out and wanted to eat what we were eating.
He finally sleeps through the night pretty good. He only gets up once or not at all. He is very busy and always wants to go. He gets into everything he can including the toilet, which for some reason is his favorite place to play.
I made Sam an owl cake. If I do say so myself it turned out pretty cute and was not too hard to make. He wasn't sure what to do with the cake though.
He played a little in it and cried a little.
I gave him a cupcake and it was more his size. He enjoyed that more. Claire decorated this one just for Sam.
Sam got a workbench, diapers and wet wipes from Don Pugh and Grandma and Grandpa Judy, shape sorter, ball ramp (which is huge!), clothes from Grandma Connie and Grandpa Dale, a little farm from Charles and Lisa
We are so grateful that Sam is in our family! We love you Sam!!
